cheers
i've discovered steam. finished portal in a few nights, and have played
eight hours of portal 2...
When you finish Portal 2 you will find hundreds of thousands mods available
to this excellent game.

I finished Portal 2 but didn't really investigate any mods. I started
playing the then currently-most-popular but had to go to bed...

1st person puzzler seems like an interesting genre, had a quick look at
the demo for Kairo, which is a bit explore/puzzle, but Antichamber
looked more interesting and is the same explore/puzzle but with added
curiousness thrown which I'm quite enjoying. It's got a bit of a Tardis
like thing going on, where it plays with space a lot, space and memory,
and really stripped back graphics which are quite nice, ... but Kairo
has a similar simplicity (ie monochromatic geometric environment) but
great texture too.... But anyway, Antichamber is good, recommended.

Sorry, forgot to mention something else about Antichamber which I've now
forgotten... anyway, another interesting one is Glitchspace which is -
wait for it - a 1st person programming game ;-)
