Via Inke Arns.
less than week to go: on Friday, 26 September 2014 we will be opening
the exhibition Evil Clowns at HMKV. ?Dangerous clowns are standing by
the side of the road?, sang the D?sseldorf band Der Plan as early as
1979. The exhibition Evil Clowns explores the often disquieting figure
of the clown, which has made an ?uncanny? career in recent years.
On top of that, INDUSTRIAL (Research) has just been published! The
pocket book (Berlin: Revolver Publishing, 2014) documents HMKV's
eponymous exhibition curated by Inke Arns and Thibaut de Ruyter which
took place in the context of the NEW INDUSTRIES FESTIVAL 2013-2014. The
richly illustrated 240-page book designed by labor b contains numerous
illustrations (photography: Andrea Eichardt and Hannes Woidich) as well
as the chronology which was presented on the 22 m long table.
